Notice of Vacancies
This is a public declaration of vacancies on the County Central Committee for the Democratic Party. There is one (1) vacancy in the 2nd Supervisorial District, and two (2) vacancies in the 4th Supervisorial District.
At the meeting of July 1st, 2010, the Central Committee voted to call for applications to fill these vacancies by appointment. In order to be considered for appointment, you must be a registered voter in the Democratic Party, and you must reside within the District you wish to represent.
Send a letter expressing your interest and describing your qualifications to the address listed below, or send an email with the same information to info@MarinDemocrats.org. Applications must be received by August 2, 2010.
A committee of the members representing each of the Districts will conduct interviews and make recommendations, which will be considered by the entire Committee at the regularly scheduled meeting of August 5th, 2010.
Requests for more information about the process may also be sent to the email address listed in this notice. We welcome application from any registered Democrat in these Districts who wishes to take an active role in a vibrant organization working to advance our party’s principles and elect Democratic candidates!
