Finally We Take Back Congress
And It's Party Time Again
The Winter Solstice Party on December 13th was a resounding success with lots to celebrate. Marin County Democrats gathered at the Corte Madera Inn where the DCCM Chair Doug Brockbank opened the festivities with an introduction of the just sworn-in Assemblyman Jared Huffman. Recognition of all those who worked hard to make the election a success was capped by an award to Mayme Hubert for her leadership in Take Back Red California, a group instrumental in the election of Jerry McNerney.
Dottie LeMieux pours some cheer for Lynn Bornstein and ...it looks like Santa Claus.
Mary Renaud shares some anecdotes about her experiences as volunteer coordinator for Take Back Red California.
Mayme Hubert accepts the award of Volunteer of the Year and recognizes the people who helped put on the Jamboree Fundraiser.Jared Huffman is off to a good start in the Assembly with lots of input from his consitutents.
