The Democratic Central Committee of Marin
charters a number of clubs to discuss local issues and organize
Democrats around specific issues. These clubs include:
NOVATO
DEMOCRATIC CLUB—The Novato Democratic Club meets the
first Saturday of the month, 9:30-11:30 a.m. If you live in Novato or simply care about its
issues, or if you would like to participate in voter registration
and campaigns to elect more Democrats into office, please check out our web site: www.Novatodemocrats.org and come to our meetings. PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS OF MARIN---a local chapter of the national Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) (www.pdamerica.org) meets on the second Thursday of each month 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Healus Center, Classroom 3, 150 Nellen Ave., next to Gold's Gym in Corte Madera. This informal action group offers educational and activist opportunities separately and in collaboration with other progressive organizations in the County to work for sustainable environmental policies, non-violent conflict resolution, and social and economic justice. THE 6TH ASSEMBLY DEMOCRATIC CLUB --- A newly formed club open to all Democrats living in the 6th Assembly District (Marin and Southern Sonoma counties) and membership fee is $10 for two years. LATINO DEMOCRATIC
CLUB OF MARIN—The
Latino Democratic Club of Marin discusses issues of concern to
Latinos in Marin, and welcomes all Democrats to participate in

MARIN CITY DEMOCRATS CLUB—Newly
formed, the Marin City Democratic Club registers voters in Marin
City and also discusses issues of importance to Marin City residents.

DEMOCRACY FOR
AMERICA, MARIN CHAPTER--DFA-Marin meets on the first Tuesday
of every month to present interesting, timely, issue-oriented speakers
and to discuss local and national issues. Members meet at the Town
Center Community Room in the Corte Madera Town Center Mall. Enter
near Good Guys and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor

MARIN COUNTY YOUNG
DEMOCRATS--A group of 14-35 year old students, activists
and young professionals who seek to promote and advance the ideals
